Receiving no order notifications or stock changes after checkout

Hi all,

I really hope someone can help me. I have searched all over and cannot find an answer to this. I am using Paypal standard and it is configured correctly. I have confirmed all steps on setting it up and when I put a test order through it processes with no issues.

The issue I am having is that ZC does not know about the order. The stock count does not go down and it does not let me know an order even took place. Has anyone got any clues?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..

I have just uninstalled and reinstalled the Paypal module and still not luck. I dont think its the PayPal config since it goes thru paypal without any issues

PayPal Standard relies on your store waiting for PayPal's servers to talk to your store in the background to tell it that the order is paid, after which the order becomes visible in your store.
If that communications process breaks or is delayed due to PayPal system problems, then your store won't see those orders.

You can troubleshoot the matter by following this document: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.php/PayPal

Or, you can use Express Checkout instead, which doesn't have to wait for PayPal's server to do the background communication.

I went thru all the steps mentioned and still couldnt get it to work. Even ran the ipncheck and it passed fine. I ended up going to paypal express and that works.
