nddbc.html on godaddy

version 1.3.8a
recently updated DB password;
couldnt access admin portion of Zencart;
updated both configure.php files to include new password
now can get into Admin in zencart but still getting nddbc.html

argh....
checked the posts here... am stumped

Check your config for a typo. Make sure you uploaded the correct config to the right place and that your permissions on the file are correct.

Just curious. Why would the admin page be "freed" and not the store front page?
Is the chmod 444 for BOTH configure.php files?

checked for typos, and checked files are in right place. Still %$##@@ nddbc.html showing up (like I said, access ok on the admin side, where it wasn't BEFORE i made the updates to the config files)

SOLVED:

When using Dreamweaver to write store/includes/configure.php back to server, make sure file is not chmod 444, but rather 777

Dreamweaver DID NOT warn that modified file was not written back to server. Once chmod was set to 777, I wrote corrected file back to server and reset chmod to 444.

When in doubt, use a *real* FTP program, not the hacked-in FTP support that Dreamweaver uses.
A program specifically written for the purpose of transferring files is going to be much more reliable and verbose about any problems encountered.
