    Default Paypal button redirect to ZC site homepage

    I am using Zencart 1.3.8a with Paypal Express.

    I am getting lots of bailed shopping cart orders. Found out that PayPal buttons are redirecting customers to my home page with popup when they click on button.

    I looked and could not find anything on this issue. If I missed, apologize and redirect with link. Thanks.

    How do I get PayPal Express button to go to Paypal and finish order?

    Thanks, Kim

    Write down your settings, uninstall and reinstall the module and see if that doesn't help..

    Um ... Your "PayPal button" is NOT a checkout button ... all you've got there is a logo with a dead link.

    You'll need to enable Express Checkout if you want to have a PayPal checkout button.

    I went to PayPal site to get button. I created button, but wants me to insert price. I left blank. I have over 4,000 products and cannot price each one. When I install new button and then go to website product page, add to cart and then click PayPal button. Button takes me to PayPal and asks me to insert price...What if customer inserts incorrect amount? If customer uses add cart and continue checkout and follows process order will got to Paypal. But, if they click on Paypal button any other time they get button without link.

    I do not think I am understanding this correctly on how to use PayPal Express Checking. I have enabled at admin/payment/PayPal Express Checkout. I also added button to banner in footer. Unfortunately, it was wrong one without link.

    So ... why did you intentionally hide the PayPal Express Checkout button in your stylesheet?
    Seems counter-productive if you want to use Express Checkout ...

    Code:
    #PPECbutton {
    	display: none;
    	float: right;
    	}
    Your "Shop now using PayPal" is a LOGO link ... it is NOT to be used for Express Checkout.

    That's completely irrelevant to Zen Cart. Those buttons are NOT intended for use in an advanced system like Zen Cart. They are only suitable for tiny sites with 1 or 2 pages that don't have any sort of shopping cart of their own.

    I did not know that button was used for small sites and how it is used. I went back through my emails and PayPal contacted me about having logo on my pages when I first set up. I should have loaded with just a We Use: not as a link.
