Sudden changes on Website shortly after update

Hello.

something curious. Suddenly when I view my website in Firefox, images are showing that nasty royal blue border but, not in IE based browser. This is a new - didn't happen before. I am wondering if it's because when I updated Zen Cart, all my personalization was lost and I had to redo the template all over again. Is there something I can do about the images?

Also, when someone makes an order through the link for Money Orders, the automatic "thank you email" they should be getting, are not going through. I'm not sure if this normal when someone doesn't use google checkout? the message I get states "This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed" BUT,
I just tested the email addy on my last M/O order - sent the customer an email through web mail and it has not been returned to me.

I'm pretty much a newbie to this so if these questions are answered somewhere else, I apologize. I tried looking through the different forums.

I have not installed any add-ons, only replaced banners, background and images with my own. Things changed after
installing the latest Zen cart update and re-doing the template.

I had zen cart 1.3.8 before I updated.
