Point#1. There shouldn't be a file with this name in this directory.

Valid/legitimate files to be found under /admin/ are

/admin/configuration.php and
/admin/includes/configure.php

There is also ANOTHER file called configure.php that is located under
/includes/ iow, /includes/configure.php which is similar BUT DIFFERENT to the /admin/includes/configure.php file.

Point#2. You should never need to modify or edit the file
/admin/configuration.php

Hey the stuff i'm copying from here is turning into chinese or something..

This looks like a file corruption or something to me. Restore it with a copy from the original zencart distro.

Any clues on what is going on, could this be whats behind the issue of not only the credit card and cheque money order problem but could it also be responsible for the categories/products photo's and info not showing in the admin section but showing in my actual store?

Damn....

I'd have to say "probably". It will certainly cause many issues and it needs to be fixed before looking into anything else you find amiss.

Hi Rod,
I wrote down the wrong names in my last message sorry ( admin/inlcludes/configure.php ) is what i meant to write not ( includes/configuration.php ) ( this is what too many hours on the computer can do to you, lol ) The writing that turned into chinese was from the admin/includes/configure.php file, shall i do as you have suggested and reload an original copy ( checking for any variants and changing them ) and see if this has an effect? or did you mean to only re load it again if the file was the configuration.php one?

There is also no file with the name configuration.php in the directory of admin/includes....., just thought i'd let you know if that makes any kind of difference.

I'm having the exact same problem removing the Credit Cards from my Payment Method also. I'd really like to know how to remove all credit card from the checkout.

I've located what is causing the problem, I have three PayPal account modules:

1) PayPal IPN (Basic PayPal service)
2) PayPal Website Payments Pro
3) PayPal Express Checkout

I have 2 & 3 active. When I deactivate 2 then no credit cards info request shows up. I looks like the tpl_checkout_payment_default.php doesn't handle multiple PayPal accounts. Is this a bug that should be reported?

First of all, Website Payments Pro ... *is* a credit card gateway. THAT is why it shows credit card fields on the checkout-payment page.

The other 2 PayPal modules DO accept credit cards, BUT they do that on the *PayPal* wewebsite, and not directly on *your* website.

Further, if you have Express enabled, you DO NOT need Standard/IPN as well. And vice-versa. Pick one or the other; not both.

No, there's no bug. Apparently just a misunderstanding on your end.
