Ok, thanks. But how can I make the HTML area work at all? I mean, I cannot make even a single line of text show up on a page... it always shows "Array" - no matter what I put in the HTML area

That sounds like a PHP file corrupted, which is not something that should be possible for the entered HTML to affect. It still does the same if you restart the browser? Did you clear the cache just in case?

Yes I've restarted Firefox and Safari and cleared their caches with no result. The HTML area doesn't display anything on the EZ-page.
