Some images don't display in IE but some do. Fine in Firefox though!

Hi guys, I've only just noticed that some of my product images don't show in IE although most do. Fine in Firefox though!

All images are 500px wide.

I have no idea whats causing this!

Even though there doesn't seem to be any pattern, I would first try removing all spaces from your image file names. Some servers don't like them.

I would also try temporarily switching to the Classic template to see if it's a template thing.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried both of your suggestions but unfortunately had no luck at all.

Like you say, there doesn't seem to be a pattern, which is making this one particularly tricky!!

I can't even find any info on the internet, that might explain the problem...

Its not the file sizes or the permissions either...

Didn't check all of them, but this one does still have a space in the name ...

Yes but unfortunately removing the space doesn't make a difference: - There are many images with no spaces that don't display
- And there are many images that are displaying correctly that do contain spaces!

So the space certainly isn't an issue!

Any other ideas?

FYI I couldn't firgure it out but my solution was to convert all the images from jpg to GIF format.
