Hi,

I need help !! i am using zen cart 1.3.7 and Paypal IPN with English and French languages.

On my order french confirmation Email, i get Date de commande : DATE_FORMAT_LONG

AND EMAIL_FOOTER_COPYRIGHT, EMAIL_DISCLAIMER, EMAIL_SPAM_DISCLAIMER

I tried looking for my language files to find something wrong that could cause that and i can't find anything.

If i use Cash on delivery or Free product and don't go to paypal, the confirmation email is perfect and showing the right text.

It only happens when i come back from paypal throught /index.php?main_page=checkout_process

Any ideas in what files my problem could be ?
Any help would be great !!

That i understand. What i don't understand is that the confirmation emails for a Free product OR Cash on Delivery OR on a Gift certificate redemption are OK.

That to me means that my definition files for my laguage is good.

What is different when it's coming back from Paypal IPN ?

PayPal IPN/Standard is a completely different kind of module than the Free or COD modules, or even many credit card gateways.

The PayPal IPN module in v1.3.7 and earlier versions uses an older sloppier method of loading all the required infrastructure components, including language files. It was rewritten in v1.3.8, and now runs faster and more reliably, and is more consistent with how other modules run.

Unfortunately, I don't have a v1.3.7 site to test on, and since everything was rewritten in 1.3.8, it's quite an involved process to go back and figure out exactly what might be breaking it for your site.

I would recommend that you set up a v1.3.8a site and test whether the problem persists for you there. If not, then your best solution is to upgrade. If the problem does persist then the exact steps to set up a clean store in such a way as to trigger the problem on-command, will be useful in troubleshooting.

I'll try debuggin a bit more and see what it does...

I wanted to wait before upgrading... i have been waiting for 2.0 instead of upgrading to 1.3.8 and then 2.0 when it comes out.
