How do I tie a swatch to a line in a drop down?

Does anybody know how tie a specific swatch to a specific
line on a drop down menu.

Example

If a chose line one on the drop down swatch 1 is shown and all other swatches are hidden.

Line two swatch 2 to is shown and the rest are hidden

and so on.

It seems when i associate swatches on with a
drop down or any other choice for that matter all swatches
are showing all the time.

This might be possible... but will require some nifty javascript and probably significant edits to PHP files associated with attributes.
