Featured Products - styling issues

The look I was going for was:


I have been attempting to reach this desired look through modifying the file tpl_featured.php and the css file.

The header portion was easy to achieve through modifying my css file. I had assumed I could add a few more divs to the tpl_featured file and then style those as needed. The problem I ran into was that I could not manage to get the file to output more divs than the default.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I may have found my problem. tpl_featured.php was NOT the file I was looking for. tpl_modules_featured_products.php looks to be what I want. I will post later with how it works out.
