load product description from external site

Is it possible to load product description from some other site?

Basically, I would need my product description to be something like an iframe which would load automatically when a product is viewed. I know i could put a link to my product description and it will open that site when clicked, but i would like it opened automatically insde my site under product description.

Why rely upon another site for your content?
What if it changes or is down?
Just enter the description in your product
iframes are a disaster with ZenCart

Why rely on it? It's my supplier's site. In the past year, i don't think it's ever been down.
I run a computer shop. Product descriptions that i get from them are very poor. I get an excel file with a basic description, and the site provides full detailed description. I would c/p it if it weren't a few thousand products...

So, I believe now you understand why i'd like iframes (or something like it). It could be something else cause my supplier gives me an xml feed that has all the data - availability, price, picture etc. But, if, i understood it right (i think dr.byte said it), zencart can't handle it...

Zencart has problems with frames in some places, but I don't know if the product description would be one. It seems like it would be easy enough to try a couple and see.

You can place the XML in a spreadsheet - - then use easy populate to load these....
easy populate is a bit terse to grasp at first but once done it can make your life easy
