Adding sub-category

Help! It's been so long I've forgotten how to add a sub category.

If you have products in a category, you cannot add subcategories to it.

You can temporarily move all the products to another category, create subcats in your first category, and move the products into those subcats.
Admin > Catalog > Categories/Products > open the category you want to put subcats in.

Do not put products directly in a category that has subcats, as that will cause pricing and search errors, as well as display errors.
