    Default Problem after New Server Move

    Having moved my store to a new hosting company and everything seemingly fine, I tried going through the checkout process and when I click on 'Go To Checkout' after the Shopping cart, I get an error page in firefox saying:

    The page isn't redirecting properly
    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.



    When I try some other variations, for example click on the paypal button to pay but then cancel to return to the site, I get the same error message above. It appears that the error url may be:

    https://www.chinesedresses.co.uk/ind...ut&action=null

    I'm not sure what has happened as seemed to be ok before the move and now it is not working. I have checked the database and that seems to be working ok and I have tried re-uploading the backup files again and same result.

    I am using 1.38a. Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Sounds like a classic case of the new "hosting company" not setting up SSL properly.
    They probably have some sloppy cheats added in .htaccess instead of properly setting up the certificate so it can be used by an advanced program like Zen Cart.

    You can test the idea by setting ENABLE_SSL to 'false' temporarily.
    Don't be afraid to log a ticket with your hosting company until they fix it.
