Linking Categories to Front Page Image

Hi, i am a web host, and recently i had to move(still moving) over a friend over to my server who runs a store. They asked me to link new categories to their front page "Sale" sign. Since i never used Zen Cart, i am having a bit of trouble finding where the "linking" part is at?

So on their main website they have a sale image that they want uses to be able to click and it would take them to that category.

How do i link it? I do not have access to FTP at the moment because they are still at the other host. How to do it with the admin panel ?

There is a category "New Arrivals" and "Sales" i need to link both, i believe there is an image map and it has two hot spots.

Unless I don't understand, it looks like those two image map coordinates are linking to categories - it's just that those categories don't have any products in them.

Currently it is linking to the wrong category's, it needs to link to category id 14 and 16. but right now it is linking to 11 and 12


Where can i change the links at?

That would be coded into your image map - if you don't have FTP access, you're probably out of luck until you complete the site move.

(Unless you can use the old host's control panel file manager to download and upload files.)

The image map code is (most likely) in define_main_page.php, which can be edited in Zen Cart admin > Tools > Define Page Editor. The hot spots are currently linked to categories, so it would be a simple matter of changing the category cPath in the link URL, or if "New Arrivals" is supposed to link to the new products page, change the main_page.
