    Default e-mail settings help

    Hi,
I need some help with my e-mail settings, they were working fine on my local set up ( I have live version now too )but I got an order the other day and I didn't get any e-mail sent to any of my storekeeper etc e-mail accounts that I have with mozilla. I got an e-mail from paypal saying i had funds in my account ( this e-mail message was sent to my personal e-mail account with yahoo ) Seeing I had funds in my paypal account I went looking for e-mail messages in my mozilla thunderbird accounts and there was nothing there. On seeing nothing in mozilla I had a look in orders/purchased in my admin section of zen cart and found the buyers info in there and was able to grab his address that way. Can I set up messages to be delivered to my yahoo account instead of using mozilla and if so, how do i set it up. Am I supposed to be doing something with my live server ( tell them something ie : e-mail settings or something ) ?
Also in admin customer orders I have the customers order that say's processing and a tick in the box that say's ( customer has been notified )

Under that I have the paypal status completed and a red cross stating the customer has not been notified.
Do i need to do anything here with the paypal not notifying the customer of there funds being delivered to me or not?

Thought it was odd that I can access the customers funds and they have not been notified by e-mail from my zen cart admin section ( do i need to set up an e-mail account for them before they get any e-mails from my admin? This sounds like the way to go - will have a look in the morning - it has been another long day at this, lol.

    Cheers.

If you use Express Checkout instead of Website Payments Standard, you probably won't have that problem.

It has nothing to do with email settings or checkboxes about notifying etc. The problem is a misconfiguration of your site vs PayPal's IPN services. Using Express Checkout avoids that misconfiguration problem.
