Zen Cart Version: 1.3.8acreate_account.php file

Any help? I went in to the "create_account.php" file to change some of the welcome email txt. One I did that, I was not able to view the letter in the Admin area nor am I able now to sign up as a new customer. I believe I have corrupted the file. Is there any way to upload this file to the same directory and overwrite the existing corrupted file. I though I could do it by copying the file from the unzipped template file, but it is not there. I have looked on the forum and cannot find any issue or resolution to my problem. I really don't want to have to reload the template and wipe out my completed website.
