Where do I find the PHP5 workaround?

Hi,

I've searched the forums but couldn't find what I am looking for. My site is currently configured for PHP4 which is no longer supported by my host. I remember changing my other site with a few lines of code to get it working again but....I have no idea where it was.

I think it was a code posted by DrByte which was a workaround that could be placed into an admin folder and also somewhere in the /includes folder???

If someone knows where this is could they please post a link to it?

Many thanks,

Gary

Re: Where do I find the PHP5 workaround?

The "Similar Threads" at the bottom of the page has "workaround for php5.2 issue", which has a link to a thread with a link to a thread (!) with DrByte's patch. That patch post also has a very prominent warning which is even more important now, three years later.

NOTE: If this fix "works" for you, then you need to upgrade your version of Zen Cart ... sooner than later. The latest version of Zen Cart contains a number of fixes related to PHP5 and MySQL5. You should plan your upgrade ... soon.
