How to put my website live?

this seems very stupid question but its quite difficult for me as i m modifying template first time.

i have modified the zen cart template and after few changes it will be ready to go live.

right now all the files are in this path
/public_html/ZenCart

My old live page is in this location
/public_html/index.html

So how can i replace my old page from the zen cart template in live environment?

THe best is to move youcart to the main directory and remove or rename index.html, so the zencart index.php page is automatically loaded. Read here how to do this.

Theres a problem.

initially i put the zencart folder in "Public_HTML" folder - /public_html/ZenCart
after that i renamed the folder to "Site" - /public_html/site

and that time i followed https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=122 and modified the /includes/configure.php and /admin/includes/configure.php files as shown below

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/Site/');

So now my zen cart folder in renamed and is in the main directory. but still if i go to the website it show me the file name which are in main directory and not the website i created in zen cart folder.

If your Zen Cart is in that subfolder, all you need to do is tell us the base web address (break it into pieces if you don't want search engines to find the site linked to this post) and we can look at your Zen Cart to advise on the template.

i did not understand tht properly
currently the site is located in - /public_html/Site/includes/templates/12541

No, we need to know your www address so we can put that with the folder to see your site.
Like www . yoursite . com /Site

its www magictrendz doc com dot au which shows some file name
and if u add "/site" where i kept the zencart data u can see the page i m making atm

OK, that worked (have to use /Site not /site). It's still going to be tricky to help with this template because Template Monster does such nasty, messy things with the code, but we'll see what we can do.
