OK this embarrassing but I'm tearing my hair out now people!

My useless host "Rentacart" have made my trading life hell so as an experiment I setup a duplicate ready to move hosts etc.

It was successful yay! but...


Today I have real issues and NEED to make a duplicate web store and here is where I am stuck!!


I uploaded zencart to the fresh server and created an SQL database with permissions and noted the username and password etc blah blah

IT STILL SAYS FAILED TO CONNECT

So I can't move on from even that? I am out of ideas as to why this is.. I've tried variations of names etc... NOTHING

Can someone techy please contact me as I'm in deep shite here.
