Help on Adding more pictures to products.

Zen cart Version: 5.2.12
Zen Cart 1.3.8a

This is a newbie question, I am trying to add more pictures to my products, but it doesnt seem to work. I have talked to my tech guy and he told me following:

1. don't use some short name such as kit2.jpg or kit2_1.jpg, you
could easily override other image with the same name. Try to name
your file like my example above, so that the image name will not
duplicate easily
2. try not to use digit on the image name unless it is the index
number. For instance, the digit "2" in "kit2_1.jpg" is no good;
the digit "1" is the index, so it is good. If you really want to
use number on your file name, try to spell it out in English, an
example will be GardenFestivalKitNumberTwo.jpg, or Garden
FestivalKitNumberTwo_2.jpg.
3. try not to use space as file name, user underscore, dash instead

Okay, so I have done everything he said. but the 2nd pictures still not coming up. Is there anything that he missed telling me that I need to do so I can make sure the second picture comes up on my site? How do you guys name your products ?

The advice to avoid numerals in the base filename is going overboard, in my opinion. If you use base names that are specific or long enough to be unique, and always use an underscore _ to separate the additional image numbers and not elsewhere, you will have no problems. What exactly are some of the base and additional filenames that are not working? The base must be identical in all cases (including capitalization). It makes things simpler to use all lowercase, with dashes if needed to separate words.

You could try the module for additonal images from the admin "click, browse, upload, done" it is not part of zencart website but you could try it on a test site instead of a live website and see how you like it. It costs likie $5.00. Was told from previous users it did wonders for them search google for "zen cart additional product images mod" it will show up for you. But use at your own risk.
