Remove all product images.

I am setting up a site that sells backing tracks and don't want to show any product images - not in the newest products, category pages, not anywhere! I have been looking around for a while now and am still unable to find out how to disable them.

I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to do this.

A quick solution would be to setting Admin -> Configuration -> Images -> Image Required to false, then "Product Image - No Image Status" to 0, and just not adding any image filenames to your products.

(If that doesn't work as desired in all cases - you could try setting image size to 1x1, and have the setting "Product Image - No Image picture" point to a 1x1 completely transparent gif. This transparent pixel trick should technically work for any image you want to get rid of)

But if you're comfortable with php (and maybe need 100% pixel-perfect css layout control, which the above method would complicate), the most thorough solution is to edit your custom template files and take out the image display code...

Sure.. you can go to Catalog -> Product Types, select each of the product types you are using, then hit "edit layout". This allows you to tweak what is shown in the product info page - whatever you don't want (show weight, show quantity in stock, etc.) just set it to 0.
To turn these things off in the listings - do the same in Configuration -> Product Listing, New Listing, Index Listing... (and so on for any listing you have enabled)

If you don't plan to keep track of stock in Zen Cart at all (even on your end), you'll probably want to go to Configuration -> My Store, and set the first two options (check stock level and subtract stock) to false.

I don't understand exactly what you mean by removing the shipping feature, but that would probably be slightly more complicated

I have the site almost how it's needed, all I need to do now is, when someone is viewing the All Products/New Products, certain options are removed from the drop down menu. I need to remove Product Name - desc, Price - Low to High, Price High to Low and Model. How can I do this?

Also, just had a thought about the shipping thing for your products...
If you're selling backing tracks (nothing physical to ship), but they're not downloads either - you might want to set the "Product Is Virtual" option in the product editor

If I remember correctly, when all products in cart are "Virtual", the checkout completely skips the shipping stage. But you should test this first

The backing tracks are downloadable, but i have now figured out how to get the auto downloads and remove just about everything I need.
