database wont upgrade from 1.3.0.1 to 1.38

I have the admin working it says the software is upgraded but the database wont upgrade and it needs to... what do i do now? how do i get it to upgrade to the newest installation patch for zencart 1.38???? its stuck at 1.3.01 for some reason??? thanks...

Databases are not my specialty, so someone else will have to put in some thoughts on this...

Check first to see that the Upgrade on your site is complete by running the:
/zc_install

and run the DATABASE UPGRADE to ensure that nothing is checked on the list of Upgrades needing to be run on the database ...

If you have things checked, do 1 at a time by unchecking all of the checked check boxes except for the first one that has been marked for you ...

Continue to run these until all remain unchecked ...

Next, check the Security Patches and Updates for your site:

I did all that and it wont upgrade from the 1.3.0.1 patch it has checks all the way to 1.38 im confused i guess...

If you have you hit the Upgrade Database and see checkmarks then those are the ones not done ...

Leave the first one that is checked checked and uncheck the others ... at the botom of the screen should be a button to apply the Upgrade that is checked ...

What happens when you run it?

NOTE: it may ask you for your Zen Cart Admin login and password to apply it ... and if so, it will ask you for each one ...
