Adding Products To Cart Issue

Hi Guys,

I am using the most upto date version of Zen Cart, the web address is http://jedidiahsplace.com/newstore/ the problem i am having is, if i add an item to my shopping cart, i just get a blank screen, when i press back the item is showing as in my cart but i wondered if anyone could help me alleviate the problem when an item is added, it is the very same with attempting to pay etc.

Does it do the same if you switch your template to classic?

Have you followed the FAQ instructions for tracking down the causes of blank pages? And if so, what results were recorded?

I have used the software to discover errors etc, and i get the following:

Those messages are telling us that you have a syntax error in your english.php file. Since the error is reported as being line 1401, but the file only starts life as 701 lines long, either you've added a lot, or you file has become double-spaced when you uploaded causing a spurious line break character to appear at the end after the closing php tag (the "?>").

The easiest way to deal with this is to remove that last "?>". But I'd recommend also investigating the settings in your FTP tool - sorry to vague on this but I've never actually had the problem myself.

The errors are also telling us that you're not using the Zen Cart override system to make your changes. This puts you at risk of losing your changes when you upgrade, and so I'd recommend reading up about this in the FAQ.
