Admin Panel - prices missing

Hi Can anyone help in my admin panel under categories there are no prices, has the product name model number and stock number but no prices, is this a setting somewhere or a major glitch?

Do you mean on the page where you set up a new product? There should be 2 Products Price fields about a third of the way down the page.

Hi no the category summary page, where all items in a category are listed

Check the following ...

1 products master_categories_id is a value other than 0

2 products products_type is a value other than 0

3 Product Type can be added to the Cart in the Catalog ... Product Type ... EDIT and that Add to Cart is checked ...

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have checked the IDs and they are not 0.
Anymore ideas on what the problem might be? Any help greatly appreciated.

I am also having another problem that you might be able to help me with. I am some products disabled from the store, but they still appear on the bestsellers list. Also, the new products on the homepage are not always once that I recently updated. Do you know of any settings to sort out these matters?

Let's stick to one issue per thread ...

Could you check the Store Status setting in the Configuration ... My Store ...

Store Status
What is your Store Status
0= Normal Store
1= Showcase no prices
2= Showcase with prices

when set to 1 you will not see the prices in the Admin, at this time ...

Hi Ajeh,

I have tried setting the store status to 0,1,2 and none of them show the prices in the admin panel

I have also started another thread for the other issue:

I had the same problem. it seems to be a bug with:
admin->configuration->customer details->Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices
if this is set to anything other than 0 then you can't see the prices in your admin catalogue.

If it is set to 0 then anyone can also see the prices on your website. I guess you have to choose between the two:(
