Help with custom category sorting please!

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, and I have already looked at other threads and can't find the answer specific to my needs.

I wish to re-order my categories so that my list of bikes are sorted in alphabetical order, but Accessories will remain at the bottom.

In the Catalog, you can speficy a sort order for each category. This sort order is used to arrange the order in which they are displayed. So, you problem can be solved by assigning a unique sort order value to each category, that represent the order you like.

When you create a category in Admin - Catalog - Categories/Products, at the bottom of the page is a box for Sort Order. Placing numbers in that box for your categories will determine how they are displayed, with the lowest number displayed first.
