    Default Why a forum?

I am thinking about building a new store using Zen Cart. However, I do not understand the purpose of phpBB in the installation. I read that is software to create forums. How does it fit with a store?

Some people want a forum or blog on their sites. I never felt the need for it and bypass the installation. It's up to the store owner to decide if a forum is useful or not.

Adding a forum to your store makes it more social, more of a "destination" site. Of course this doesn't apply to all types of stores, so it's an optional feature that you may add if it is desired.
