Default issues installing the Sage Payment Module

Has anyone ever gotten this message in the Payment Module while trying to install the Sage Payment module?

Warning: include(/home/avila/public_html/store/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/._net1.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/avila/public_html/store/admin/modules.php on line 173

It means you have added a file named "._net1.php" to your /includes/modules/payment folder, but you have not put a corresponding file of that name into the /includes/languages/modules/payment/ folder.

I suspect you didn't really intend to upload such a file, so I suggest deleting the ".net1.php" file from the /includes/modules/payment folder.

I don't see why this would be connected to the Sage module itself, but rather perhaps merely coincidental.

i never uploaded the file _.net1.php. Apparently Net1 is the same as Sage Payment solutions. Have you installed the Sage payment solution?

now, i deleted the files and uploaded them again in the /includes/module/payment

    and the /includes/language/english/module/payment

When i go to the admin area to the modules/payment area to install the module, the module isnt there and this is the message i get at the top.

Cannot redeclare class net1 in /home/avila/public_html/store/includes/modules/payment/net1.php on line 30

now, the requirements to use this module requires the SSL and the Port 43924 open for bi directional communication and i didnt set those up yet.

Does that seem to line up with the error message? i also did not change the permission as the readme file did not instruct to do it.

I don't have the files you're using for this, but most payment modules consist of 2 files:

    /includes/modules/payment/MODULENAME.php
    /includes/languages/modules/payment/MODULENAME.php

Those files, while sharing the same "name", have VERY different content. If you mix them up, you'll get the "cannot redeclare" message.
If you fail to upload the language file, you'll get the "failed to open stream" message.

So ... the key is this: whatever files you have in your /includes/modules/payment/ folder NEED TO HAVE CORRESPONDING files in the /includes/languages/modules/payment/ folder ... AND the language file content needs to be a language file of defines, and not a class declaration.

If you have module files that don't have matching language files, then you'll need to delete those module files until you have a language file to go with them.

i did delete the files and uploaded them to the correct directory. I also checked the content of the files to see if there were functions in the one that should go into the includes/modules/payment/
and it was correct. I checked the language file in the same way and am still getting the same error message.

i changed the permissions from 644 to 755 and still the same message.

This payment module is old, could it be outdated?
