Admin Login Loop: Still Not Resolved

I have followed the steps listed in the following articles:

Page after page of forum posts, and no fix found.

This is a new install, no errors during installation.
I downloaded the software on Saturday, Jan 16 and installed today so most current version installed.

Please help.

What exactly is happening? Just wondering because I have noticed that occasionally my admin will be showing the login page, but the browser bar at the top of the window still says it's on index.php and won't let me log in. The way I fix that is by going to the browser bar and deleting the "index.php" text ONLY (ex1: www.site.com/admin/ or www.site.com/store/admin/) or replacing it with "login.php" (ex2: www.site.com/admin/login.php or www.site.com/store/admin/login.php), then hitting enter. Otherwise I can click on my bookmark, which is set specifically as the login.php page.

The original post is about not being able to stay logged in to the Zen Cart admin panel. It has nothing to do with your problem, which will be down to incorrect entries in your admin/includes/configure.php file.

I am having the same issue. Error is redirect loop. My admin isn't using ssl. Hope someone can help. What is your host?

Hi,
I have the latest ZenCart installed and it works perfectly on Firefox and IE 7.

But when the customer uses IE 8. and they try to go to checkout, it loops back to their log-in page. If they log-in again, the products are in their shopping cart, but they can not go to check out if they are using IE.8.

Is there a tag that can be placed either on the shopping cart page that allows compability to conform to IE 7? Or something like that which would need to be placed in all pages?

Like:

What can I say - I use IE 8 with 1.3.9h and it works fine.
