httpd.exe giving error while trying to save database setting

Hi Every Body
I am trying to setup Zencart v1.3.8a on my PC.
I am using WAMP Server 2.0i
Apache Version : 2.2.11
PHP Version : 5.3.0
Every thing is OK till Prerequiste page
but when I click SAVE DATABASE SETTING from database setup page with information entered for database setting like -

database host - localhost
database user - root
password - root
database name - zencart
leaving all other as it is...

I got debugger window from browser saying -

Visual Studio Just in time Debugger opens with an error "An unhandled win32 exception occured in httpd.exe[1160] or [3092]

this code chages every time I am trying to move forward

When I close the debugger window Fire fox page show error - "The connection was reset"

Same happens with IE but error codes are different -

Can any body help me. Thanx to every one for considering my problem

I am using WAMP Server 2.0i
PHP Version : 5.3.0

Use Wamp server version 2.0h or 2.0g
which dont have PHP 5.3.
