Hi,
This is my first post here, my first time building a site with Zen-Cart and actually my first time building an online shop. So please forgive me if this query is at all naive. I have been reading lots about PCI Compliance on this site and elsewhere and see it's a very complicated issue. Obviously an important one though.
This is a question for the developer of the third-party EPDQ payment module. First of all, a huge thanks for building this and making it available to the community. Your hard work is much appreciated.
Basically, I want to make sure that the site I'm developing is fully PCI Compliant and will pass any scan that is required. I have read on the Zen-Cart site that the core code meets the criteria. However, I am planning on using the EPDQ module add-on as my client is adamant to use Barclays EPDQ (I have downloaded the latest release version).
So, what I was wondering was if and how I can be sure of this module meeting PCI Compliance? I assume it is? It would be great if you could confirm that this is the case and if so if there is anything I can do to demonstrate it (or does that just require an independent security scan?). I did a search on here but couldn't find anything specifically about PCI compliance of third-party payment modules.
Thanks so much in advance and keep up the good work!
Jean-Paul
