Attributes...is there a way...

Is there a way to add the same attributes, like a personalized message box to an entire product category at ONCE, as opposed to doing it individually for every item after listing it.
I know the category that gets this attribute, every item gets it? Is there a way to do it all at once as opposed to going to the attributes controller each and every time to insert this attribute?

1. At the top of the attributes controller page of the product which HAS the attribute, try the COPY options
