Default Re: Easy way to add more pages?

    Did some more troubleshooting........

    1. created my own stores php file in
    /includes/languages/english/stores.php
    /includes/modules/pages/stores/header_php.php
    /includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_stores.php
    /includes/templates/template_default/templates/tpl_stores_default.php
    /includes/languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_stores.php

I've inserted some content in to both define_stores.php, the link works now but no content displays, even when I input content through define pages...

I don't get the 404 error, All I get is my title and a back button.

    What the heck.....

I apologize if I don't understand what you're trying to do, but it sounds like you're making this a lot more difficult than it really is.

If you want to create an EZ page with content you've added, you wouldn't do anything with the URL boxes. As it says,
If specified, the page content will be ignored and this INTERNAL alternate URL will be used to make the link

Just specify the name of the page, and select where you want the link to appear (you did all that stuff right). A link to the page will appear where you specified and the URL of the EZ page is automatically created.

Define pages and EZ pages are two different things, so EZ pages won't show up in the define pages list.

Default Want Contact Us to go to default template

My custom template overrode the original tpl_contact_us_default.php template and so I have downloaded it from default_templates and placed it into my custom folder of templates.

However, now I'm trying to figure out how to get it to display. Under the Tools > EZ Pages - I've deleted out HTML contact in the HTML editor area and placed the internal link where required, but I'm still getting error message:

Error: you have defined multiple settings when only one may be defined per Link ...
Only define either: HTML Content -or- Internal Link URL -or- External Link URL
How do I resolve this so that the default contact us form displays when someone clicks on the Contact Us link?

Default Contact Us - update to previous posting

Hmm...for some reason although I was deleting out the HTML entered contents in favour of the internal link, the Admin area was not immediately recognizing this.

I had to do it several times - manually deleting out HTML content, re-entering internal URL before the change actually took.

    It's now working!!!
