Hi, I'm giving zencart a try.
Would someone advise me how to do the installation, after extracting all the files cos I can't find any setup.exe ?
Also, I'm running on windows XP...not sure if it can run Zencart?

You need Apache web server and PHP language software installed on your computer before you can set up a website like Zen Cart.
Google for xampp - it is a free, easy-to-install package which has everything you need to have a local installation of Zen Cart for testing and development. Note - if there is a choice,do not get a version with PHP 5.3, as that is new and requires some extra tweaking to make ZC run.

Yes, XAMP will work with windows XP, but I suggest installting on one of the free php hosting packages, after all the inveronment is different
