Need to Hide Gift Certificate FAQ pages on Side of template

My client doesn't want to make gift certificates available so I need to deactivate or hide any reference to them. I'm having trouble hiding the Gift Certificates FAQ (index.php?main_page=gv_faq)

I went into the EZPages to see if it was there and turned off anything related to gift certificates there, but no dice yet.

I use the most current version of zencart with the cold steel template.

Did you try just going to the Modules ... Order Totals ... and click on the Gift Certificates ot_gv and click REMOVE ... this will remove all references in the Catalog for this ...

NOTE: if trying to block it completely from people even trying to force the page, you could just rename the directory:
/includes/modules/pages/gv_faq

to something like:
gv_faq_HIDE

and now you will get the Page not Found if someone attempts to force the URL ...

It's a situation where they might change their mind in the future so I don't want to do too much damage cutting it out. I will give that a try. Thank you!

I got it to disappear. Thank you again! Order Totals is not the place I would have thought to look. There are so many options in the store. :)

Thanks for the update that you found the issue on how to turn off the references everywhere for the Gift Certificates ...

We do try to pack the features in there ...
