Internal Server Error

Yes but I have had the zen cart working and used 777 before
I have just run a little test.php and that throws up an Internal server error as well the test was

?>
and called it test.php and placed it in the public_html folder it still throws up an Internal Error

Can you please tell me the correct attribute for the PHP files.
most are at 644 after uploading to the server

This is dependant upon how the server is setup
Your host should have a knowledgebase item for this

But 644 is one normal setting for php files

Ok looked again at the server that host my domain and looked all over it for help signs and it seems that I had recreated the database and that takes time for the server to react to it and now for no reason at all it just popped back in and now works. I'm thinking somebody there saw a red flag and put out the fire. Just wish they whoever they are would let people know when something is down or not working.
