The Shopping Cart Original Price Add-on adds the 'original' price of the product to the shopping cart if the item is discounted.

This add-on is great, but can we take it one step further and show the total savings on the order below the shopping cart. Just like the Price Discount Savings text does on product info pages, but in this case, add up the total savings of items in cart and display somewhere on the bottom of the cart or by the cart total.

This would be a great to have on checkout pages or on the checkout success page as well.

Could this add-on be modified to achieve this?
