I've read a few other post that are similar but I believe the question was not answered.

How do we send a download (unique link to vid, pdf, etc.) without having to pay or have customer pay? These downloads are already in the store as items that can be paid for. There must be a way for me to go into the admin, pick a download and send it to someone if I want. I used to be on Miva shopping cart and it was a cinch.

For instance, I have clients that I want to send a simple give too. Or after something goes weird with a past order and someone would be pleased to receive a simple gift that costs me nearly nothing... Or if a past download past the timeline and I want to resend a download to a customer (I've seen that you can resend an item in admin, yet that does not seem to be an option anywhere.)

I hope this is more clear. I've seen this question posted in many places but not addressed in a way that hits our goal to make it where WE can do it when we want to whom we want without being a simple link directly to an unsecure folder, etc.... Just send the download as if it was purchased.....
