Shipping by weight to different zones

Hi guys

I am trying to achieve something that I'm sure is simple but I just cannot work out how to do it!!

I live in Australia. Basically what I am trying to achieve is I want to be able to ship to the different states (NSW, QLD etc...) and have the price of the postage determined by the total weight of the order AND what State it is going to. What might cost me $10 to send to NSW for one order, that exact same order will cost me $25 to send to WA or $15 to send to SA. Does that make sense??

I have changed everything over to kg's from lb's throughout my cart but I have no idea which is the best form of shipping to use or if this can even be done. And if it can be how do I set it up???? I have looked for an answer to this all over the web and this is still doing my head in!

Not sure if this is going to be important but I am using version 1.3.8 and PHP version 5.2.5

You might do a search in the Free Software Add Ons for:
Zone Table

There is one that allows you to build more specific Zones than you can with the regular Zone Rate zones shipping module that would probably work for you ...
