Help! Product categories Move when viewing

Hello all! I'm new to this but rather puter savy. The problem I have is I've actually customized another custom template but now the product categories move down the page when viewing products. I tried fixed position (really cool looking but stays on top when the screen is not expanded) and many other items with no luck. It almost looks like even if it is set to absolute it is moved when you click on a product. I'm using version 1.3.8 and it is a recent install. Take a look at the following URL and you will see what I'm talking about. Also, the text about the Big Linked has got to go but I can't seem to remove it. I see tha your customizations, or the template you started from, have eliminated most <br class="clearBoth" />
from th overall layout. This lets floated elements overlap with what is below them in odd ways.

What is the problem with Big Linked text? You can edit the Big Linked category description to get rid of it on the category/product listing page.

Thank you for the reply on the big link text. I knew it was something simple but did not know where to edit it and also thought it had come with the template not set up through the admin panel. Sometimes the simple things stump us..

So what do I need to do to allow the categories box to align in its position on the products page? The template was a starting point but I didn't change anything for that or at least I don't think I did. Any ideas?

It's not the categories box that has the problem, but the entire main content section of the page. This is related to the <br class="clearBoth" /> that were removed. It looks like you have done a lot of experimentation in the stylesheet, and you have disabled a number of rules unintentionally as well as the intentional changes.
