Offering additional shipping for free shipping method?

I don't use Royal Mail module ... but my first thought is ... have you checked the Tare settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... where perhaps you might be adding more weight or something to the shipping?

you are right.... I found that option as it added a ratio to the final weight / price.

I am pretty sorted on the weight and prices now.


* Ajeh, one more question for you mate, is there anyway of adding an additional service to free items i.e. an upgrade price for next day courier but not the full price?

What is the "upgraded shipping" price based on for these Free Shipping Products?

Hi Ajeh,

The upgrade shipping price was to offer the customer an express shipping method as oppossed to the FREE shipping which would of been 2-3 days delivery.... would just give the customer the choice if they wanted to get it next day for a few extra quid.

I have now gone down the advshipper route and can now add the upgrade option at any price I want and for it only to appear after the £40 spend for FREE shipping.

Still getting used to Advshipper but I like what I see so far
