Have a Drink Show all products on the same page!

    Hi guys!

I am looking for a solution for my webpage www.parkogpudder.no

When the customer goes into a category it only listes 3 products per row on 3 column. To get to the other products in the same category, the customer has to go the nest page!

    Example:
    http://parkogpudder.no/index.php?mai...ex&cPath=23_39

I would prefer to list all products in a category on the same page!

Is this possible? And how is it done?

    Thanks
    Bjarne jr

    Hi Bjarne

    look into

Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values

    and

Admin > Configuration > Index Listing

You can customize the number of products in any way you like. For example, your 49 products laid out in a 3 horizontal config would give you 17 horizontal rows of products. That's ok if you only have a few products, but once it gets into the 100's the page would be a mile long and take ages to load. Could be a deterrent to customers.

That would entirely depend on your preferences. If you don't have a local copy of your shop on your PC, then I would do a backup first and then take the site down for maintenance for an hour or so (pick a time with the least traffic expected), print out the relevant admin page for reference and for making some notes and then play around with the settings. It is really up to you.

By changing any of the settings in the maximum values you can't really mess up anything. You can always put the settings back to where they were originally (based on your screen print) if you are not satisfied with the look you created.

When taking the site down for maintenance make sure that you exempt your own IP address. Admin > Website Maintenance > Down for maintenance (exclude this IP address). Your IP address is displayed in Admin on the main navigation bar just after the date and time. If you don't exempt your own IP then you can't see the changes you just implemented.

Ok, thanks. But I reaaly think this is a php problem. By changing the Maximum VAlues at the "Maximum Display of Products All Page" to 30 or 40 it doesnt change at all.

No, you want Admin - Configuration - Maximum Values - Maximum Categories Products Display List
