Customizing drop down attributes

I am investigating shopping cart software. The following is an example of what my client wants.
Maybe this image will help. The hilited areas are where I would like to remove the information per my client's request. The attribute needs to stay there for proper calculation, but, removed from display on main page and cart info. Checkout info must remain correct. Another possibility is to add a multiplication so that the attribute would read (5 day plan @39.99 per day x 6).
