Centering column 2?

Hi folks,

Firstly great community you got here, I've been searching/reading the wikis loads to get me started! But I've hit a brick wall, I cannot find a thread/wiki about centering the middle column (column 2) of all pages. I've seen in admin you can control the size/position/existence of column 1 & 3 on the left and right, but the not the centre one! So at the moment I have:

Column 1: ON, 150px
Column 2: ON, Left alignment
Column 3: OFF

To explain what I mean, here's my shop so far: Link

And here's an example of a live shop I found off the Zen site directory, that has a central middle column and matching side column (albeit right not left but the positioning is still good): Link

I want to do this so that it looks more central and aligned, and also so I can upload a decent background!

You or your template has altered what is contained in the mainWrapper container so it is not responding as a default would
Suggest you look at if you have edited the tpl_main_page.php file

Okay I'm still having trouble to centre the whole lot, if you know what I mean?

Sites here and here, have it how I want it! I would like the empty whitespace down the left and right so all the content/both columns are in the middle.

Could it be the % in the mainWrapper?

Hmm can't seem to edit my post above, so I'll post again.

I'm making progress but could do with a spot more help:

1. How can I move the bottom EZ bar to the centre with the other EZ bar?
2. How can I make all links red (#e3492e)?
3. How can I bring the left column into the centre to the left of the main image?
