Default Internal Server Error message after blocking IP address - HELP!!!

I was in the admin panel of my site and saw that someone was trying to hack in and I tried blocking their IP address and when I tried to get back in to my site I got this message below, I cannot reach the person that hosts my site and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can get back into my admin panel, I can get in to my control panel but the site is down and I can't get into the admin panel. Thanks for your help, here is the error message::

What makes you think that there was a hack attempt?

    I'd go 2 ways:

    1. read and apply http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...ing_From_Hacks

    2. unblock the IP address and see what happens

Sounds like some incorrect information was entered into your main .htaccess file and causing your site not to work.

Using your FTP program to download and edit the .htaccess file or use File Mgr. within your Hosting Control Panel, you can remove the line with the IP address you entered. If not sure what to remove you can rename your .htaccess file to .htaccess_old. As I'm not sure what is in the .htaccess and you may have other information needed by your site, you could also upload a backup of that file, if you have one.
