Checkout pointed at a Custom order form

Hi, can Zen Cart point to a order form that has areas where the user enters their credit card info, that is on another server from where Zen Cart is installed? I want to use a custom order form from another third party to handle all the gathering of the credit card info and shopping cart items info. Or does Zen Cart have to handle that data in and of itself?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but few customers would stand for being sent to another site other than a payment processor to enter their credit card details. Can you explain in more detail what you're trying to accomplish?

I want the checkout page (where the CC info is entered) to point to this companies order form (http://www.simpleurl.com/services/secure_form.php). They have a service that bypasses the payment gateway all together. It then allows you through SSL to view your orders (with CC info) securly on a web page they host. You then manually do the payment process with a credit card machine.

If you have an SSL certificate, Zencart will do the same thing using the Offline Credit Card module, and you won't have to pay those guys anything, or send your customers to yet another site.

Not that I'm recommending using the Offline CC module, which I consider a horribly insecure way to accept payments, but ...

Why not a real-time CC processor, or Paypal or Google Checkout?
