If the idea is to host a Zencart site on blogger. com, I doubt if you can do that. You can incorporate a Wordpress blog into Zencart, or link to your existing blog from Zencart.

Zencart is a site actually? Is that how you use it ?

How do you use wordpress with zencart? So zencart is not a program? Zencart is actually a website?
Thanks for your help![]()
No, Zencart is a program that you install on a server, under a specific domain name. You'll need to familiarize yourself with how Zencart works before you'll be ready to include a blog. Start with the Tutorials/FAQ link at the top of this page.
i didn't mean to include a blog in zencart actually.
actually i intend to use my blog, make-and-create.########################## as a website for my online shop. And the deal is that I think first of all ZenCart asks this
"1. Do you have a domain?"
And by the domain does it mean a full www.somethinglikethis.com
or, a shared domain like www.somethinglikethis.##########################
So mine at the moment is something like a shared public domain isn't it.
Then @kobra
"believe that their terms of service might preclude you using this FREE service meant for a BLOG for a commercial purpose as in a shopping cart..."
I have checked google and here it is
http://peter-home-business.#########...ping-cart.html
http://www.bloggertipsandtricks.com/...your-blog.html
for stating that " I might not be allowed to use blog for online shop " Actually I've seen A LOT of it around online. But blogger.com hasn't prelude any of those people from doing what they wish to with their membership.
So what step should I take now. I try to read them and still need to get more clues. Thanks stevesh.
In that example, he isn't using a shopping cart program, he's just adding Paypal buttons to some product pages he added to his blog. I guess you can do that, but you won't get the features available in Zencart.
No, you can't install Zencart in a bloggggspot account (the forum here won't allow the name without the extra 'g's). You'll need an actual domain of your own (www. mynrose.org, for example) to install Zencart.
kay so if i have a domain but still used the blogger services as a website is it possible? like www.mynrose.com as a domain , but whoever who comes to mynrose.########################## will be forwarded to there as well. So..... does it work? Blogspot sells domain from enom.com and godaddy.com.
So I was thinking I'll buy a domain name and my hosting place will still be by blogger.com IS it same or different? Then I can continue to other requirements of using ZenCart
Thanks for your advice![]()
Let's start over. Why do you want to continue to use the blogging service which shall remain nameless to host a non-blog site?
The usual method is:
Register a domain name.
Secure a hosting account from one of the tens of thousands of hosts available (here are some good ones:http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...es&pages_id=10) and point your domain to it.
Install Zencart to your hosting account, using FTP.
Have fun and make some money.
