Cart Upsell/Cross Sell -- doing nothing?

Just downloaded and installed Cart Upsell?Cross sell Version 1.3.

Followed instructions to a tee.

Nothing Happens. no Upsell or Cross sell. Am I missing Something.

There must be some-one out there that knows something about the Module Cart/Cart Sell version 1.3. I like the idea of this module and have seen it on other sites.
I'm just wondering if I did something wrong when installing the module. I have removed all modified files and re-installed with same results. Where is the text suppose to show up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure which mod you installed, but if it's this one:

I think you need to also install the Cross Sell mod - this one just places the Cross Sell stuff in the cart.

I did as you suggested and yes I hadn't installed the cross sell mod. Now though I get this erroe message which appears on my checkout page as well as my items in cart page.
I must have done something wrong. any idea from this

Surely someone has the answer to the last question. What about the people who posted both modules. I'd like to keep it on my site, but without help it isn't going to happen.

It says that the vws30408.products_xsell table doesn't exist in the database.

I'm guessing, but maybe you neglected to run a SQL statement included with one or the other mod. I haven't used either, so ...
