Hey all

I am new to Zen Cart i downlaoded the first template on the below site.

and then i uploaded it to my site http://allthingstools.co.uk/shop/

but it doesnt seem to have uploaded properly or has it?

Looks like you have not activated / configured your sideboxes as yet.

It just doesnt look anything like the template

That is not a template that we support - it is a free Template Monster template. Ask them or the distributor you got it from how to make it work.

As you are still a novice, it is not advised to use these heavily customized templates. Many of them depart radically from core zencart functionality and require a lot of skill to manage.

You will spend your life on this forum, begging for help which you are unlikely to get, as Kim suggests, because in order for anyone to help, they will have to unpick the template first. This can take several hours - time that will have to be taken off other income-earning activities.

Your first month or two should be spent playing with a standard install. When you have better knowledge of the systems, cautiously play with other templates - and ALWAYS do this testing on a non-active store. You can create a "duplicate" or clone site in a sub-directory, or in an add-on domain on your main server/domain.
