hello all--
I am currently in the process of setting up my first online store, and i am having trouble uploading data feeds from my distributor through EP 1.2.5.4 and the most recent version of zencart.
my website was hosted on an overseas server (it was hell as far as customer service was concerned), and the upload of data feeds worked beautifully.
however, when i found out that godaddy.com offered as much as 10x the storage and monthly transfer, i quickly switched over, complete with a fresh zencart install (no hosting transfer; the store wasnt open yet anyhow).
so now i am on a godaddy linux deluxe hosting plan, and ive got zencart installed, but i am getting 505 errors when i try to split EP files. occasionally, with great luck, it will split the file and actually let me upload one or two of them, and then i end up with 505 errors again. godaddy's customer service is excellent, i have spoken with their tech support at great length, generating the error while the tech monitor, and they are telling me that everything on their end is working fine, the problem must be somewhere within my site.
so i read around on the forums, and tried re-FTP-ing the EP files, to make sure everything is where it belongs, and as far as i can see, everything is. i am unable to get past the 505 when splitting the file as of today, it seems as if, after last night, it wont even let me split files.
so this is where it gets interesting. i go to my site (www.missdebbiesbasement.com/shop <---WARNING, adult content), and what do i see? all of my products listed! so i shrug and upload the images to the directory that they belong in according to the data feed, and i have no images associated with any of my files.
my store is only customized as far as the stylesheet.css goes, i am using the classic template with customized colors and images, and my only addons that didnt come with zencart are easypopulate.
godaddy tech support directed me to a place where i can view my logs, but i have no idea what i am looking at.
if anyone could be so gracious as to give me some advice, i would be eternally grateful.
