Can I add 3.4% to total payable while checkout through paypal?

I need some help, how can i add 3.4% of total order to cover paypal charges and show it as a handeling charges in shopping cart?

We get this question every now and then, and the usual answer is that doing what you want to do violates the Terms of Service you agreed to when signing up with Paypal.

It would require a little custom coding, but many here, including me, won't help with making it happen.

A better answer would be to raise all your prices a little to account for the Paypal fees.

Thanks for reply, i did not know this is violation of term of paypal, but on other hand it does not make sence at all to either add the %in price or show it seperately, eventually customers are paying for it anyway.

I would just absorb the cost into your prices. That way you arnt doing anything wrong and will cover the cost. Plus i think this is better, than a customer getting to the checkout and being hit with a surcharge as your site requires a paypal payment method!
